SYSTEM:       groups - 27 teams are registered (max 28). The teams were drawn into 4 groups of 6-7 participants each, so that domestic and foreign participants were evenly distributed among the groups. In the group, the system is round robin for two sets. Each set is played to 50 points, or to max. 12 throws by each team. Then the team with the higher number of points is the winner of the set. If the points are equal, it is a draw. There are two points for a set win, one point for a tie, zero points for a loss. Score sheets will be prepared on courts for all matches in the group. After the match, the score sheet must be handed over to the organizers.

The ranking in the table is decided by: number of points, score difference, head-to-head match, score in head-to-head match.

                        Play-off - the first four teams from each group (16 teams) advance to the first round of play-off A. Teams in 5th-7th place in groups play play-off B (12 teams)

All matches are played best of three sets, except for the semi-finals and finals of Play-off A, which are played best of five sets. Each set is played to 50 points, or to max. 12 throws by each team. Then the team with the higher number of points is the winner. If the points are equal, the teams throw additional throws until one team has more points, or 50 points. The exception is the decisive sets of matches (third or fifth), which do not have a limited number of throws and are played to 50 points.

In the groups and in the playoffs, the teams start the sets according to score sheet, the team with the higher score from the sets played up to that point starts the eventual deciding set.

The minutes of the meeting must be picked up with the boards at the organizer's stand, and after the match, the signed score sheet must be handed over to the organizer with the boards.

SYSTEM – 41 participants are registered. The deadline for applications for the individual tournament is on Saturday 27 July 2024 at 15:00 on the spot. Max. number of participants is 48. The draw will take place on Saturday evening on the spot.

It will be played in groups (Finnish groups of 3-4 players each). 5 rounds are expected.

Each set in the group is played up to 50 points, or to max. 15 throws by each player. Then the winner of the set is the player with the highest number of points. If the points are equal, there is a tie and the victory in the set is shared between the players with the same number of points.

Score sheets will be prepared on each court for all groups and rounds. After the meeting, the signed score sheets must be handed over to the organizers.

The ranking in the group is decided by: won sets, total score, higher score in a non-winning set, mölkk - out.

 

RULES - in addition to the above mentioned, the game is played according to the rules issued by the I.M.O. with the exception of time restrictions rules. All participants are requested not to prolong their throws and contribute to the smooth running of the tournament.

            - Courts have a limited playing area

            - It is played with official playing sets from Tactic, no other equipment is allowed (e.g.  own thrower). The throwers will be                       numbered according to the number of the court on which they must be used.

            - The tournament has a timetable that must be followed and adhered to. The team/player who, after being announced by                 the tournament organizer, within 10 min. does not show up for the match, loses the match by default, is disqualified from                   the given match.

            - The organizer has the right, if necessary, to shorten the tournament or matches appropriately.

            - It is forbidden to bring to the playing area, or consume alcoholic beverages, as well as smoke and eat on the playing                           area. This is only allowed in designated areas.

            - Teams/players referee their matches themselves, in case of dispute they turn to the main referee which decision is final.   

               The referee directs the final matches of both tournaments.

            - The results are recorded by the participating teams/players. After the end of the match, they check, sign the minutes of                   the meeting and hand them over to the tournament organizer.

            - The course of the tournament will be displayed on the monitor, or displayed by other means at the organizer's stand.
